MUSA Green’s groundbreaking collaboration with APP Sinarmas has paved the way for a cutting-edge project that is set to transform the landscape of emission monitoring in the pulp and paper industry. APP Sinarmas, a prominent player with over 10 plants in its portfolio, has joined hands with MUSA Green to develop a comprehensive System Informasi Pemantauan Emisi Industri Kontinyu (SISPEK) as one of regulation program of Indonesian Ministry of Environment and forestry to enhance Emission condition for sustainability. Our project is a web application designed to monitor continuous emissions. The first phase of this ambitious undertaking begins at the APP Sinarmas Power Plant, focusing on upgrading the existing system. Subsequently, the project extends to implement the SISPEK at Sinarmas’ Non-Power Plants with the collaboration of PT Mitra Mega Intisolusi.
Problem & Challenge

- Infrastructure: Establishing dedicated servers at mills and APP Head Office adds to the infrastructure challenges, including hardware maintenance and redundancy planning.
Solution
The primary goal of this project is to construct a robust System Informasi Pemantauan Emisi Industri Kontinyu (SISPEK) KLHK, deriving data from Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS) across APP Group. The solution encompasses various critical components:
- DIS (Data Interfacing System) Development: This project includes the development of the DIS, serving as the core element for data acquisition and processing, to be implemented in the mills.
- Dashboard Monitoring: To provide users with real-time insights, a comprehensive Dashboard Monitoring system will be established at the APP Head Office. It will serve as the central hub for data visualization and analysis.
- Integration: The project involves the seamless integration of DIS and DAS (Data Acquisition System), ensuring that data flows efficiently and accurately. Additionally, DIS and Dashboard Monitoring will be integrated to provide a cohesive user experience.
