Environmental Monitoring: ADARO’s Collaborative Project with MUSA Green

Project Date: 2021
Location: ADARO
In Collaboration: PT Adityarama Daya Cipta

MUSA Green has teamed up with PT Adityarama Daya Cipta to support ADARO Company, a seasoned player in the mining industry. Our mission To bring environmental monitoring to a whole new level. We’re working hard to deliver a cutting-edge online monitoring system that meets the strict standards set by SPARING KLHK regulations in Indonesia. But it’s not just about meeting rules, we’re here to make wastewater quality monitoring a breeze for the mining sector. This collaboration is all about progress and our shared commitment to making the world a greener place.

Problem & Challenge

ADARO found itself confronted with the formidable challenge of upholding the exacting water quality standards dictated by SPARING KLHK. Conventional monitoring methods proved laborious, time-intensive, and susceptible to human error. ADARO was in need of a solution that could furnish instantaneous data on wastewater quality, facilitate retrospective data analysis, and promptly alert in the event of deviations from established benchmarks. The task at hand involved crafting a system capable of effectively and accurately monitoring and reporting on a range of parameters.

Solution

MUSA Green stepped up to the challenge by designing a multifaceted solution. The project’s core components include:

  1. Firmware Data Logger: A state-of-the-art firmware installed on data loggers capable of handling up to 5 sensor inputs. This firmware collects data from sensors and transmits it in real-time to the central monitoring system.
  2. Client Server: This integral component publishes data to the KLHK server, ensuring regulatory compliance. Simultaneously, it stores data in CSV format on local PCs, offering a redundant data backup system.
  3. Dashboard Web Interface: The user-friendly dashboard provides a comprehensive view of historical sensor data. Accessible via any online browser, it not only monitors hardware but also offers analytical insights. The system is designed to trigger notifications and alarms in case of anomalies, ensuring prompt action. Additionally, users can download monitoring data in CSV/Excel format for further analysis on remote PCs.

Benefit & Impact

  1. Regulatory Compliance: ADARO now effortlessly meets SPARING KLHK standards, eliminating the risk of non-compliance penalties.
  2. Real-time Monitoring: The system provides real-time data, allowing for immediate corrective actions in the event of deviations from acceptable wastewater quality levels.
  3. Data-Driven Insights: The dashboard offers in-depth analytical tools, empowering ADARO with actionable insights to optimize its wastewater management processes.
  4. Environmental Stewardship: By ensuring the highest water quality standards, ADARO and its partners contribute to environmental conservation and the sustainable growth of the mining sector.
  5. Streamlined Operations: With an efficient monitoring system in place, ADARO can allocate resources more effectively and reduce operational costs.
